February Vacation

February Vacation was this past week and I have today and tomorrow off for parent teacher conferences. We spent the first part of the week hanging out at home and doing A LOT of cleaning. On Thursday we left for Ottawa to visit family and also have some time to relax and be together just the five of us. We spent time swimming in the pool and hot tub, walking around the city (sounds boring, but it was actually awesome!) and spending time skating on the canal and wandering through the giant mall that was connected to our hotel. It has been a different experience being up in Canada since my grandparents died because we never really got to explore the city like that.
As for the exchange, no more news yet, but we will hopefully know something new when I get back to school on Wednesday...

Still in Vermont...

Hi everyone,

I was originally going to start a blog called California!, and blog while I was away on my exchange at the Summerfield Waldorf School in Santa Rosa, CA, but I found out at the last minute that I was unable to go because the girl I was supposed to live with was unable to host me. So I have decided to still do a blog, but it had to be renamed because I don't really know what my exchange will look like. I am crossing my fingers that I will still be able to go somewhere, but in the meantime, I will cross my fingers and hope that I will be able to experience a different school. I hope that you decide to stick with me, as I don't know what this will lead to.

I am super excited for February Break and I am counting down the days! I can only hope that something might come through over the break. Maybe I will be able to tell you soon that I am going someplace exciting. In the mean time, I hope you are enjoying the winter and I look forward to keeping you updated on this process.
